Passion Meets Purpose: How Writing Has “Rewarded” Me

When you live out your passion in life, you’re rewarded. With an interest in writing and a passion for entrepreneurship, I’ve been able to live out my passion writing for small businesses and entrepreneurs. From writing for Florida-based companies in the recreational marine industry to working with early-stage social media companies in San Francisco, pairing my interest and experience writing with my love for small business has taken me in interesting directions. Although it hasn’t been easy, it has been rewarding.

During an Ask Me Anything session I hosted on AMAFeed, I was asked, “What is your biggest reward from life as a writer and an entrepreneur in the business world?” Here was my response:

“I think knowledge and being able to see and understand the viewpoints of others. Writing is mainly about collecting information and figuring the best way to share that information with a specific audience.

I have learned how businesses work and how people think. I would not have had the chance to learn if not for writing and entrepreneurship. It has benefited my life in more ways than I will ever even know.”
